Michelle St.Aubin
Owner, MS CCC-SLP
I am a certified speech-language pathologist and the owner of Fun First Therapy. I grew up in NE Michigan, in the small, quaint, tourist town of Tawas, MI. I attended undergraduate and graduate school at Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, MI starting off as an elementary education major before transitioning to become a speech-language pathologist (SLP).

After graduating from GVSU, my career began with a wonderful non-profit, Comprehensive Therapy Center, in Grand Rapids, MI where I serviced local schools and private clients. Growing up with a mother who worked as an SLP and elementary teacher in education and a father who owned a small business, I quickly realized I needed a blend of the two. When my husband, Evan, and I decided to move back to Tawas in August 2017, I began Michelle Lynn Therapy PLC as a way to “fill in the service gaps” that were present in Northern Michigan and bring consistent, quality speech and language services to the area.

After starting with pediatric, in-home, private therapy sessions. I began contracting with two local intermediate school districts in 2018. In the Fall of 2018, I opened what is now our main office location for private therapy sessions in East Tawas, MI.

In 2020, Fun First Therapy grew beyond myself and we added several speech-language pathologists to the team to help provide both in-person and virtual speech-language services to schools, companies and organizations throughout Michigan.

Starting in 2022, the opportunity and need for occupational therapy and social work services in our area presented itself and we expanded once again and began offering occupational therapy and social work services initially as outpatient services, followed by offering contracted services.

We now offer in-person and virtual speech-language, feeding, occupational therapy and social work services to individuals, families, organizations, and school districts throughout the State of Michigan.

My role as the owner of Fun First Therapy has transformed tremendously over the past two years. I continue to spend time working face-to-face with a small number of clients, however I spend much of my time today focused on improving our services and building relationships with individuals, organizations and companies throughout Michigan to help “fill service gaps.” A strong passion of mine in this work is standing with other therapists and organizations across the state to advocate for better insurance practices.

Outside of owning and running Fun First Therapy, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, gardening and spending time on our farm, backpacking, traveling, and baking.
