About the Role
Reports To: Michelle St. Aubin, MS CCC-SLP
External Relationships: Marissa Revord - Office Manager, Parents, Guardians, Teachers
Purpose: The purpose of this role is to provide speech and language therapy services in a clinic setting.
Responsibilities: - Provide and deliver direct therapy and consultation services to patients identified with disabilities in articulation, receptive and expressive language, fluency, pragmatics and/or voice disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients utilizing evidence-based practices
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify patients who qualify for speech and language services; interpret results accurately
- Compile, maintain, and file all reports, records, and other required documents as required by law and administrative regulations
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support patients’' needs and progress
- Regularly evaluate and document patient progress, adjusting therapy goals, objectives and supports as appropriate
- Other responsibilities as needed/assigned, within the scope of the speech-language pathologist role as defined by the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association (ASHA)
Pay Rate:
$40-$55/Hour, based on qualifications and experience Expected

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Licensed in the State of Michigan
- Maintains ASHA certification
Knowledge and Experience:
- Minimum of one year experience as an SLP providing direct individual and group therapy
- CFYs: consider if in person opportunities were an option depending on location of applicant
- Experience administering and accurately interpreting tests and measurements to screen, evaluate, and diagnose speech and language disorders for students referred for special education, as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulations
- Ability to balance multiple demands and prioritize activities to meet deadlines
- Skilled in organizing and maintaining a system for accurate and complete record-keeping
- Knowledge of special education law in regard to therapy services provided
Computer Skills:
- Excel
